Olimpia backed the Zorros 4-1 in the Round of 16 of CONCACAF 7 – CONCACAF Champions League 2023, with two goals from Jorge Benguché. The goals of the match for the locals were scored by Kevin López (9′ 1T), Jorge Benguché (9′ 2T and 27′ 2T) and Jerry Bengtson (15′ 2T, from the penalty spot). While the visitor’s goal was scored by Julio Furch (14′ 1T, from the penalty spot).
Jorge Álvarez was the party figure. The Olimpia midfielder made 67 correct passes.
Jorge Benguché was also important. The Olimpia striker scored 2 goals, finished the opposite goal 3 times and made 12 correct passes.
