“Mister Iphone” stole and sold mobile phones

“Mr Iphone” fell in Balvanera when Community Investigation Division 3 personnel, who were carrying out prevention duties in the area, observed how he suspiciously entered and exited a premises repeatedly with cell phones, police sources said Infobase.

When corroborating the defendant’s data, it was established that he had several lawsuits for violation of the telecommunications law. Not only that: They determined that, in the criminal underworld, he was known among those closest to him as “Mr. Iphone,” the detectives detailed.

After the discovery, the uniformed officers consulted the National Federal Criminal and Correctional Court Number 5, responsible for Maria Eugenia Capuchetti and in front of Dr. Cerca’s secretary 9. Judicial authorities have ordered the arrest and transfer of the suspected cellphone thief, in addition to the removal of found items, the sources added.

The devices weren’t just available in stores that were explicitly phone stores; they were also offered at restaurants that were defying a closure order. Several of the devices were blacklisted by ENACOM, marked as stolen or stolen.

Another blow to the illegal sale of mobile phones took place in early October 2021, when the Municipal Police and the AGC found the Malena Gallery on Corrientes Street at 2100 more than 1,123 smartphones and more than 200 batteries.
