There are two main stations for boarding the intercity service from Metropolitanone is located in the north (Naranjal) and another to the south (Matellini). However, not all Peruvians who use this transport live near these two stations or one of the 36 intermediate stations. For this reason, so that users can get closer, there are feeders.
These units are easily recognizable because they have yellow and orange color and display the logo of the Metropolitan. They leave from several districts in the South and North and end in Naranjal or Matellini. Now, what routes each has, what are their prices and what functions they have, we will detail in the following note.
It is important to indicate that the special route has been activated, which goes from Central Station to Gamarra and vice versa. This bus is orange in color and can be picked up from the top of the station near the Civic Center.
As the name suggests, feeder buses “feed” the intercity system by allowing users to access from transfer stations. These pass through non-exclusive routes, the purpose of which is to bring Metropolitan users closer to the terminals to make the connection with the interurban route.
orange buses 8.5 meters long with capacity for 40 people. These buses run along the northern, southern and central feeder roads.
yellow buses 12 meters long, with capacity for 80 passengers. These buses run along the southern feeder road.
