Melissa Paredes did not hesitate to give her opinion on Ethel Pozo’s performance in ‘Maricucha 2′. The former host of ‘Prendete’ expressed her high regard for Gisela Valcárcel’s daughter, but also had to be honest about what she thinks.
In Paredes’ opinion, Ethel Pozo does not have the necessary skills to act. However, she believes that with the guidance of her husband Julián Alexander (director of the series) and Michelle Alexander, she can improve.
“I’m not saying this to speak badly, because unfortunately, love will always be there. I don’t know why, but when there is no talent, there is none,” Melissa Paredes told the journalist from “Love and Fire”.
When the reporter mentioned that she had never seen Pozo perform, despite Ethel’s previous acting roles in movies and on TV, Melissa Paredes agreed. The model also noted that she thought it was Pozo’s first time playing a role.
“I saw it, and it’s not that I’m a great actress. It comes very naturally to me. I think I was very lucky, and I think a lot of people like the way I act. I think it’s a gift too. We weren’t all born for the same thing, maybe, right?”
As a reminder, Ethel Pozo was introduced as the new cast member of ‘Maricucha 2′, where she plays Afrodita, Vicente’s (Christian Domínguez) ex-partner.
Ethel Pozo expressed her excitement at being part of this successful production. She also indicated that she had put a lot of effort into preparing for this project.
“Everyone knows that I have done theater, cinema and I am preparing, at the moment I have just finished an internship with Bruno Odar to interpret, motivate and create a sensation. I am chancona and I study my scripts all in the evenings to give myself 100%, ”revealed the daughter of Gisele Valcarcel.
