A vacation ended in tragedy for a couple, after the husband died in the arms of his beloved after suffering an accident.
Daniel Heritage and Emma traveled from Australia to Canada; however, when they were climbing on rocks the subject fell. The woman went down quickly and tried to help her husband, but the man lost his life after a few minutes.
The story was revealed by Emma herself through a letter she shared on Facebook telling that he was her best friend and the love of her life, besides that she had done everything possible to keep him alive.
“Thank you for inviting me into your world where everything was possible and every day was an opportunity for a new adventure,” she wrote so that everyone knew how important her partner was to her.
“You were the best husband I could have ever asked for and while I don’t know what the future looks like for me right now, I know you’ve had a great last few months,” she added in a message that received thousands of reactions and interactions.
In the same way, the man’s family applied for financial help on the GoFundMe page to raise money for the funeral expenses, especially for the transfer of the body.
“The death was very traumatic for Emma, as she witnessed the accident and held him in her arms as he passed,” her sister quoted on social media.
“We need your support, because there are many expenses, especially for the transfer of my brother’s body. Help us to give him a decent burial, as he would have wanted,” she closed.
