The governor linked political polarization as a key factor in the economic stagnation that Argentina is dragging and which translates into persistently declining economic and social indicators.

“We must put an end to the split, we must also respect and regain the institutional functioning. It is impossible for the Kirchner government to attack the Court with this so-called indictment. The president spoke out in favor of subsidizing employment and not unemployment: “We must resolve the situation in which millions of Argentines have become accustomed to living on subsidies. We must give them an education so that they can work and give them the chance to integrate the formal productive apparatus”.

Furthermore, he flatly rejected the withholding tax system. “It is impossible for those who bring dollars to be penalized. It is a tax, deductions at source, which does not exist anywhere in America, Europe or Asia and which must be changed”.
