ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Lauri Markkanen scored 31 points, Talen Horton-Tucker added 23, and the Utah Jazz snapped a four-game skid with a 131-124 win over the Orlando Magic on Thursday night.
Simone Fontecchio added 17 points for Utah, while rookie Walker Kessler had 13 points and 10 rebounds, including a key 3-point play with 35 seconds left.
The action came after the Magic cut their deficit to one point.
Paolo Banchero had 36 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter. The Magic suffered their third straight loss.
Markelle Fultz finished with 25 points and six assists, while Franz Wagner had 24 points for Orlando.
Utah hit its first six shots of the second half — two from Markkanen — to extend its lead to 15 points, its most of the game.
