“It’s inhumane”: Laura Zapata revealed new details about the Mistreatment her Grandmother suffered in the Senior Center

Through Twitter, Laura Zapata revealed more details about her grandmother’s health, Eva Mange Márquez, and the mistreatment that she allegedly suffered at the residence where she was.

According to the actress of Wild Rose, the older adult, who turned 103 this Monday, would be going through a lot of pain due to the injuries she suffers, and advanced that tomorrow she will have a debridación.

When visiting your family member in the nursing home, Laura Zapata noticed that Eva Mange had up to nine decubitus bedsores. These are ulcers that form when muscles and soft tissue press against a surface, such as a chair or bed, for a long time. Pressure prevents blood from circulating in that area, and can cause skin tissue to die.

Due to the severity of the injuries, the doctors will have to submit her to a debridement this Tuesday, a medical process that consists of remove foreign material and dead skin to promote healing of the wound.

Laura Zapata defended herself from the attacks on Twitter and asserted that during the pandemic they have not allowed her to see her family member.
