Business man Gustavo de Hoyos Walther “self-discovered” as a candidate for the presidential elections of the 2024dedicating himself as the first aspirant of civil society.
It was through your account Twitter that the organizer of the opposition fronts Units there Yes for Mexico formalized its adhesion to the electoral race without having any political support. This, he argued, because of the disagreement that the citizens would have shown by the politicians “rotten by power”.
“Mexicans are tired of politicians. Six-year terms after six-year terms have shown us that they are incompetent”.
In a first video posted on his official account, and after insinuating that those responsible for the Mexican political sphere are full of “other priorities more important than you and me”, De Hoyos Walther showed sensitivity to the problems that would directly afflict the citizenship.
“What would happen if one of us rose up to take over the reins of this country? Someone who feels the same as us. I worry about my family, my job and my country. I have the same blood as you“, he commented in the audiovisual.
“I don’t live on politics. And just like in my business and in my private life, I like to be clear and direct. I am ready and I am. I want to lead this effort,” said the attorney as well, who explained some of the proposals this would support their assertion.
A health service and quality education (whether private or public) financed by the government were the first proposal of De Hoyos, who, in this sense, accused the current administration of allocating the public treasury with “pure whims”. This, illustrated by images of the great works of the sexennium of Andrés Manuel López Obrado (AMLO): “Money is enough”.
In a second point, he listed an opening with the Americans for investment, emphasizing the eradication of the “wall”, possibly, border between the United States (USA) and Mexico: “We will agree to tear down the wall and that we can come and go from one country to another without restriction.” This cooperation, he added, will also cover the eradication of organized crime.
“I will sit down and talk with (Joe) Biden and not with El Chapo’s mother.”
The third paragraph implies the crisis of insecuritywhich, according to the businessman, would radically eradicate, thus implying the assessment of sentences such as the death penaltylife imprisonment and automatic extradition.
“Everything that needs to be done needs to be done now. With the same force that is used in El Salvador to put an end to the Maras”, he affirmed in his second clip.
