Sports Writing, Feb. 26 The German quartet, made up of Selina Freitag, Karl Geiger, Katharina Althaus and Andreas Wellinger, won the mixed team springboard event of the Nordic World Ski Championships held in the Slovenian resort of Planica on Sunday.
Germany added a total of 1,017.2 points, 12.7 more than Norway, who led after the first round and for which Anna Odine Ström, Johann Andre Forfang, Thea Minyan Björseth and Halvor Egner Granerud won money; in a test in which Slovenia, 16.8 units behind the German quartet, won bronze.
