Germany will prolong the restrictions on public life and economic activity by the coronavirus until April 18, several German media reported this Monday.

This is one of the agreements reached by the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, and the heads of government of the 16 federal states in the virtual meeting they are holding to analyze the situation of the pandemic of coronavirus in the country, the results of which will be communicated to the press at the end of the meeting.

The cumulative incidence of coronavirus in the last seven days in Germany it rises to 107.3 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, in a clear upward trend since mid-February.
