Gerardo Morales has received support from Mendoza radicalism and is preparing to launch his presidential candidacy

The governor of Jujuy and president of the national UCR, Gerard Morales, adds support in the party structure to launch his pre-presidential candidacy for PASO. This Sunday he visited Mendoza and met with key provincial leaders, led by National Senator Julio Cobos.

During the meeting, the leaders analyzed the electoral political situation of the province and the country, and expressed their full support for Morales to set up a project of “federal government, with a productivist and developmental perspective”.

During the meeting, the Governor of Jujuy also reiterated his desire to run for the presidency of the Nation and invited all those present to the launching ceremony of his candidacy, which will take place next March 15 at the Teatro Gran Rex.

“We have to stick together, focus on a course and not deviate from our direction. Radicalism has the best technical equipment and the best territory to reach every door of every house in Argentina, let the moss not confuse us, if we focus on a government plan, we can win”Morale maintained.

Meanwhile, Cobos analyzed the electoral scenario and the economic and political context in which the elections will take place this year. In this sense, he assumed: “We are very dependent on the macroeconomics and the general conditions of the country”. and exercised a strong support for Morales to advance your application.

“Gerardo has a very clear vision, starting with the order of the state and the order of the macroeconomy to generate investment conditions, but with an agenda for growth and development in all regions of the country. Pointing to education, as other countries have done and, above all, to recover the middle class, the concept of social mobility”, indicated the former vice-president.

Moreover, at the end of the meeting, he added: “We are really very happy to have been able to have this exchange and we will continue to support Gerardo in this difficult task of trying to lead the destinies of the country.”

At the Mendoza meeting, there were mayors, legislators and provincial leaders who analyzed the situation in the province, but also the circumstances that the country is going through. Morales said he was working on “transformation proposals for Argentina with a view to developmentist, federalist and productivist”.

The radical leader pointed to the idea of ​​this action plan: “Generating more production and more work for our people, talking about educational transformations, the challenges to combat insecurity and, fundamentally, to restore order in the economy and in daily life”. people”.

At the beginning of the weekend and during the traditional harvest festival, Morales was consulted by the press on the political situation of Together for change in Mendoza, where there are internal tensions between the UCR and the PRO over provincial candidacies.

“At Cambiemos there is no fighting, there is a joint effort to have a government program and to integrate actionsbeyond the fact that there will be several candidates for the presidency,” said the man from Jujuy.

Asked about the candidacies for governor of Mendoza, he strongly supported his party partner. “Alfredo Cornejo is our candidate for governor for radicalism and we hope that the Pros and all political forces will continue to integrate and participate in Together for Change,” he explained.

“I am going to be a candidate for the presidency, I started on March 15 at the Gran Rex, convinced that the challenge that all Argentines have is restore order in the state, in the economy, in people’s everyday life“said Morales.

The UCR leader called for unity in the opposition coalition in this election year. “Together for change remains and I hope that here in Mendoza the PRO also takes this responsibly, because there is a STEP and the possibility of a dispute in space. Our candidate is Alfredo Cornejo, that he has the full support of radicalism throughout the country,” he reiterated.
