The increase was formalized by a decree published today in the Official Journal. The text which modifies the values ​​of the tolls recalls that in the current tariff grid and with the aim of contributing to alleviating the periods of congestion, it envisaged differential tariffs, by considering the “peak” hours from Monday to Friday from 7 am to 11 am. and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in both directions and a differentiated rate for Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays and tourist holidays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., in the provincial direction, and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., in the central direction.

In the new fee schedules, it continues with the structure of differentiated time slots while with regard to the Paseo del Bajo motorway, it provides for a differentiated rate by axle for heavy vehicles with three or more axles and for vehicles specifically assigned to the safety of heavy vehicles.

Furthermore, and depending on the changes produced in the toll systems and the gradual migration towards a free circulation system, Articles 42 and 43 of the Operating Regulations are modified and the definitions correspond to the terms “TelePASE” e “Day pass”.
