Paris, Jan 17 (EFE) .- France registered 16,642 cases of coronavirus this Sunday and 141 deaths in hospitals in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of positives since the beginning of the epidemic to 2.91 million and the number of deaths to 70,283 .
The positivity rate of the tests carried out has risen one tenth in one day, to 6.6%, as indicated by the Public Health Agency in its daily balance on the situation.
In the last seven days there have been 9,631 hospital admissions for complications derived from covid-19, of which 1,418 had to be referred to intensive care units.
