Five dead in a fire in the capital of the Philippines

Five people have died and five have been injured in a fire in the Tondo district of Manila, according to the newspaper ‘The Manila Times’.

The fire has affected a 37-year-old man and four children between 12 and 3 years old. Among the injured, there is a nine-year-old boy.

The fire was detected at 1:49 a.m. (local time) and was extinguished four hours later.
