The kingdom will release its final episodes this year and announces its arrival on Netflix with an explosive official trailer. The Argentinian series is the brainchild of Marcelo Piñeyro and writer Claudia Piñeiro which follows the journey of Emilio Vázquez Pena (Diego Peretti), a religious leader who has a lot to hide, to become president of his country when his comrade from campaign is murdered.

This Tuesday, the first trailer for the long-awaited second season was unveiled and more details about this sequel are shown. Emilio has become president of Argentina and gains allies along the way, including his own army with which he will implement a regime of terror to regain control of the nation and gain popularity. Its biggest antagonist will be Tadeo, who will also be a popular leader and will not lose sight of his mission.

According to the official synopsis, the political thriller “tells the story of Pastor Emilio Vázquez Pena, candidate for the vice-presidency of the Republic, whose running mate is suddenly assassinated during the closing ceremony of the campaign. After the horror comes The Opportunity: Vázquez Pena could now become the next President of the Nation Between storylines, Emilio will try to figure out who the murderer is and what his causes were, as he prepares to be the new leader of the country.

The original cast of The kingdom He is completed by Mercedes Morán, Peter Lanzani, Joaquín Furriel, Chino Darín and Nancy Dupláa. For this second part, Diego Velázquez, Julieta Cardinali, Mariana Di Girolamo, Maite Lanata, Agustín Aristarán, Juan Ingaramo and Florencia Raggi joined. The new season.
