Deportivo Garcilaso showed no mercy and went down 3-0 on their visit to Deportivo Municipal

On Day 7 of the Peru – Liga 1 Betsson 2023 tournament, Deportivo Garcilaso showed their full potential at the Ivan Elías Moreno stadium and beat Municipal 3-0. The visitor’s goals were scored by Santiago Giordana (10′ 1T, penalty), Kevin Quevedo (2′ 2T) and Leonardo Rugel (37′ 2T, against).

Deportivo Municipal striker Luis Ramos took the ball and finished but the post denied him the chance to reduce the 94th minute in the second half.

The figure of the match was Diego Penny. The Deportivo goalkeeper Garcilaso showed his quality by containing 4 shots.

Joao Rojas was another of the outstanding players. The Deportivo Garcilaso striker showed his best level.

For their part, Roberto Tristán’s chosen ones entered the field with a 4-2-4 scheme with Diego Penny under the three sticks; Aldair Salazar, Alex Rambal, Juan Lojas and Alexi Gómez in defense; Jhony Obeso and Emmanuel Páucar in midfield; and Jorge Bazán, Joao Rojas, Kevin Quevedo and Santiago Giordana up front.

The judge chosen to officiate the match at the Ivan Elías Moreno stadium was Fernando Legario.

For the next date, Municipal will play the role of visitor against Grau and Deportivo Garcilaso will host Sporting Cristal.
