CHINA ADDED AGAIN MORE THAN 100 NEW INFECTIONS
China has recorded this Sunday 109 cases of coronavirus of which 96 are local and 13 imported according to the health authorities of the Asian country. 72 of the local cases have been reported in Hebei, 12 in Heilongjiang, 10 in Jilin and 2 in Beijing, while one suspected imported case has been registered in Shanghai. In addition, other 119 new asymptomatic infections in the mainland of the Asian country.
Authorities are working against the clock to contain the spread of the pandemic less than a month before the Chinese Lunar New Year. In the city of Shijiazhuang, the capital of Hebei province, a new isolation center for 3,000 people has been built in just five daysaccording to Xinhua, the Chinese state agency.
So far in the pandemic, coronavirus cases in the country have reached 88,227 and of these, 1,205 continue to receive treatment, 42 are serious and 4,635 people have died.
