Good news for lovers of The last of us: In the seventh episode of the series, Joel and Ellie will meet another video game character and a fan favorite. This was seen in trailer for the next chapter which will be released on February 26th. Starring Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey, HBO’s adaptation of the beloved console game saw the protagonists encounter a host of threats on their cross-country journey, Clickers, Bloaters and Kathleen (Melanie Lynskey) .

Now, the duo finally took a positive step when Joel reunited with his brother, Tommy, though it sparked some controversy. Though fans are still reeling from Joel and Ellie’s dangerous visit to the University of Colorado, HBO released the new advance which promises more dangers and threats in the story. The short trailer explores how Ellie will have to protect herself and Joel after this man is stabbed to death during his fight with the cannibals that occupy this territory.

The trailer also shows the long-awaited arrival of Riley (Storm Reid), one of the most iconic characters in video games. As promised by showrunners Neil Druckmann and Craig Mazin, the series stuck very close to the game’s story, and the sixth episode marked the first big stumble for Joel and Ellie on their journey. Although an emotional reunion has been seen between (Pedro Pascal) and Tommy (Gabriel Luna), the two are put in a dangerous new position when they encounter a group of bandits at the University of Colorado. Deviating a bit from the video game, Joel found himself stabbed by one of these criminals, leaving the character mortally wounded.
