“If you know what this is…”.
Social networks become, on many occasions, a place to remember past moments and some other memories that many thought they had forgotten.
Something very similar to what happened with the tweet posted by Twitter user @shankamar. With just one sentence and a picture taken from the internet, her message has become very viral in the last few hours.
Many users love to remember past stages, such as TV commercials from their childhood, toys of the time that were common in many homes and, as in this case, school supplies that are no longer sold but were indispensable in many moments.
“If you know what this is, you are older than walking forward,” said the user on the bluebird social network, next to an image of a historical object, a pencil sharpener or pencil sharpener of the Puntax brand.
A message that has made many people remember the blade inserted in a metal ring that allowed them to hold it with their hands and sharpen pencils. Something that, before the appearance of today’s manual pencil sharpeners, made it difficult that, on occasions, the blade would destroy the utensil and part of the student’s fingers.
An object that has raised a great nostalgia on Twitter and has generated dozens of comments at the time.
