LONDON, March 10 (Reuters) – BP chief executive Bernard Looney’s total compensation for 2022 has more than doubled from £4.46million in 2021 to £10.03million (£11.99 million), according to BP’s annual report released on Friday.
BP posted a record $28 billion profit in 2022 and raised its dividend, but angered climate activists by backtracking on plans to cut oil and gas production and cut carbon emissions by 2030.
