At least six ITBP staff members were killed while other staff were injured when their bus was involved in an accident at Frislan in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. A civilian bus carrying 37 members of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and two Jammu and Kashmir police fell into a roadside riverbed after its brakes reportedly failed.
“At least six ITBP staff members were killed while several other staff members were injured and are being airlifted to Srinagar Army Hospital for treatment,” JK police said.
