Venezuela’s ambassador to the United States, Carlos Vecchio , rejected threats from the government of Vladimir Putin to deploy military force in Cuba and Venezuela with the intention of increasing pressure against the United States.
“Instead of contributing to the recovery of Latin America in the post-pandemic era, the Russian government seeks to transfer its conflict from Europe to the Americas,” Vecchio said through his official Twitter account.
