French football is still not clear about which will be the main emitter of Ligue 1 from February. The breaking of the television contract with Mediapro in December and with BeIN Sports and Canal Plus France last week leaves the LFP without television to broadcast French football starting in February.

According to information from L’Equipe, the highest French football organization has already launched a new offer with the five lots that have all the Ligue 1 matches. The main favorite to take over the entire offer is Canal Plus, although other platforms, including Amazon, have entered the scene as possible bidders.

The American e-commerce company has already started broadcasting football matches through a streaming platform in Italy, broadcasting the Champions League and having a large audience. At the same time, Dazn, which does not yet have online service in France, is also running as one of the suitors to acquire all of the Ligue 1 broadcasts.
