Alert in Ecatepec for a Strong Fire in a Factory near Two Gas Stations

A strong fire was alerted in a mattress factory that is located near two gas stations in the Cardonal neighborhood, in Xalostoc, Ecatepec, Mexico state.

Emergency services, ambulances, police and civil protection are already in the area and it is expected that they can control the fire before it spreads and approaches the two gas companies that could result in a latent risk for the residents of the area.

Elements of the National Guard have alerted the residents of the area to temporarily move away for their protection, as well as to avoid inhaling the toxic black smoke, while they control the fire.

The great column of smoke was perceived in the distance, even in various areas of Mexico City.

The fire was registered around 10 in the morning and so far no injuries, intoxicated or deaths have been registered.
