A three-year-old boy died and an injured woman is the result of a shooting that occurred last night in the Golden Glades area, located in Miami-Dade County, when they were at a birthday party.
Telemundo 51 reported that the Homicide Office of the said county police department is investigating the incident recorded exactly at 26 Northeast Miami, at 158th Street.
After responding to a shooting alert, the agents found the minor with a bullet impact for which he was immediately transferred to a hospital where he died of the serious wound.
Elements of the Miami-Dade Fire Department also arrived at the scene and were in charge of mobilizing the 21-year-old woman to Aventura Hospital where she is in stable condition.
The police report indicates that the victims were at a child’s party when they were hit by a subject who fled to an unknown address and is a fugitive.
“I would say that between 30 and 50 shots, people were running, so we ducked behind a truck and some people ran and hid behind these two trucks,” he told Local 10 a witness named Marc Anderson.
The Miami-Dade Police Department requests that any information useful for the investigation of this incident be communicated to the Crime Stop Line (305)471-TIPS (8477).
