Digitization of work using analog paper is an unavoidable effort not only for remote work but also for improving work efficiency.
New products “SnanSnap iX1600” and “SnapSnap iX1400” will appear in PFU’s ScanSnap series, which is gaining support for high-performance document scanners from corporate to personal use.
The latest flagship model SnanSnap iX1600 of the ScanSnap series, which scans and converts documents with one touch, is equipped with a 4.3-inch touch panel. Even inexperienced people can operate it intuitively with the touch panel. It’s easy to switch users, so it’s comfortable to share with multiple people.
In addition, it can be connected to a Wi-Fi / wired PC, and if you use ScanSnap Cloud provided by the company, you can scan only with this model. It is capable of high-speed scanning of 40 sheets per minute, which is the fastest in the history of the series, and can be expected to significantly reduce work time for tasks that require a large amount of digitization.
SnanSnap iX1400
The SnapSnap iX1400, which will be released at the same time, is a model dedicated to USB connection. There is no touch panel and it has one button for operation. Not only the design but also the operation is simple. The scanned data is stored on a wired computer, making it ideal for highly confidential work. The scanning performance is equivalent to the flagship model iX1600, and high-speed scanning of 40 sheets per minute is possible.
The basic size and design of both models are the same as the previous flagship iX1500, with the front lid raised to set documents. The iX1600 is available in white and black, and the iX1400 is available in white only.
Documents up to A4 (A3 / B4 documents can also be scanned by hand), business cards, receipts, photos printed on paper, etc. can also be scanned. It also supports double-sided scanning. The free PC software “ScanSnap Home” can also manage scan data and set up linkage settings to send data directly to Dropbox, Google Dribe, Eigght, accounting and personal asset management services.
