Exciting 2-goal draw between Ypiranga and Brasil-RS, for date 8 of the Brasil – Gaucho Championship 2023 tournament.
The goals of the match for the locals were scored by Erick (26′ 1T) and Clayton (10′ 2T). While the away goals were scored by Luis Gustavo (41′ 1T, from a free kick) and Luiz Felipe (29′ 2T).
One of Ypiranga’s plays could have changed the score when Clayton finished on goal in the 48th minute of the second half, but the ball hit one of the posts.
The party figure was Luiz Felipe. The Brazil-RS midfielder scored 1 goal.
Another of the outstanding players was Erick. The Ypiranga striker showed his best level by scoring 1 goal and shooting 5 times on the opposite goal.
60 minutes from the start of the second leg, striker Da Silva lifted the crowd with a pipe to João Pedro.
A high foul rate constantly slowed play on the pitch. There were several warned: Lorran, Luis Gustavo, Marcio Jonatan, Marcelo Pitol and Robson.
Ypiranga strategist Luiz Vieira stopped the starting XI with a 4-4-2 formation with Caíque in goal; Gedeílson, Ronald, Windson and Patric Calmon on the defensive line; Clayton, Lorran, João Pedro and Matheuzinho Fogaça in the middle; and Erick and Bruno Baio in attack.
For their part, the elected Rogerio Zimermann entered the field with a 4-4-2 scheme with Marcelo Pitol under the three sticks; Luis Gustavo, João Marcus, Cézar and Rennan Siqueira in defence; Amaral, Guilherme Nunes, Patrick and Denis Germano in midfield; and Marcio Jonatan and Da Silva up front.
Anderson Daronco was appointed as the main referee for the match at Colosso da Lagoa.
The next day, Ypiranga will face Esportivo as visitors and Brasil-RS will play the game at home against Avenida.
