The French central Real Madrid Raphael Varane was substituted at halftime of the league match against Osasuna after feeling muscle discomfort in his right leg, he rested on Sunday and Monday will be the day he will undergo an MRI that will reveal if you are injured.
Varane is a serious doubt for the Champions League semi-final second leg in London against Chelsea. He requested the change after feeling some discomfort in the first part of the match against Osasuna and waits for more than 24 hours to pass, to undergo the medical tests that determine the scope.
It will not be until Monday morning when the Real Madrid doctors will perform the MRI on Varane and Zinedine Zidane will know if he has the player to travel to London on Tuesday or if he is sick.
The Madrid coach showed his hopes that Varane’s bad feelings will remain a scare and that he can count on Chelsea with his player. Captain Sergio Ramos will return for the decisive European event.
“I hope it is not serious, speaking with him he says that it is little but we have to wait for the tests. I hope it is little,” said Zidane that for the visit to Chelsea he already has the casualties due to injury of Lucas Vázquez and Dani Carvajal.
