The Swiss skier Lara Gut-Behrami reinforced her leadership in the overall supergiant of the Ski World Cup by achieving victory in Crans Montana (Switzerland), ahead of the Austrian Tamara Tippler and the Italian Federica Brignone.

The day after finishing second in the descent won by the Italian Olympic champion Sofia Goggia – today disqualified for skipping the last gate – Gut-Behrami credited a time of 1: 53.63 in the Super G, beating Tipler by 93 hundredths and by 1.02 to Brignone.
With this victory, Lara is third overall in the World Cup, which is still led by the Slovak Petra Vlhova, despite the fact that she could not finish today’s event in Crans Montana.
