Javier Tebas, president of LaLiga, has found a disqualification petition against him. As published by ‘La Voz de Galicia’, the Spanish Football Federation has sent a letter to the Superior Sports Council requesting its suspension because “his performance has affected and continues to seriously affect the integrity of the competition and of the League itself.”

The Council, when asked by this newspaper, builds bridges and appeals to the spirit of the Pact of Viana so that both institutions sit down to negotiate and understand each other, “it is what our football and our sport demands”, they affirm.

According to this information, Elvira Andrés Monte, vice president of the RFEF, and Pedro González Segura, head of the legal department, sign the letter sent to the Superior Sports Council so that “urge the CAS to initiate disciplinary proceedings for the alleged commission of very serious infractions typified in article 76 of the Sports Law.”

A letter that would consist of 22 pages and in which the RFEF describes the relationship between Tebas and two clubs (Fuenlabrada and Granada), which it would have benefited. Regarding Fuenlabrada, they maintain that he has been advised by the Tebas law firm and by him even when the Madrid club was already part of professional football.

With regard to Granada, the alleged link between Tebas and the club is related through Javier Aranguren, manager of two companies of which the sole administrator is the son of the president of LaLiga.

But this would not be the first time that the disqualification of Thebes has been requested. In summer it already happened, when Irene Lozano, president of the CSD, took the involvement of Tebas in the ‘Fuenlabrada Case’ to the Prosecutor’s Office and this body closed the matter.

The CSD, consulted by AS, urges both LaLiga and the Federation to maintain the spirit of the Viana Pact, achieved almost a year ago, and initiate negotiations and understandings for the good of football and sport, which is what they are demand.
