Paul George scored 21 points, including five of the Clippers’ 21 3-pointers, and Los Angeles hammered the battered San Antonio Spurs 119-97 on Saturday.

Norman Powell added a season-high 26 points off the bench and Reggie Jackson added 20, with six Clippers players in double figures. Powell hit five 3-pointers and Jackson made all four of his 3-point attempts.

Kawhi Leonard had 11 points in 22 minutes, his second start after missing 12 games with right knee problems. John Wall had 15 assists, the first Clippers player since Chris Paul in 2017 to reach that number.

Since starting the season 5-2, the Spurs have lost nine 10-4s in a row. Their main scorer was Jakob Poeltl with 20 points. Doug McDermott added 13 points and Tre Jones had 10 assists.

The Clippers dominated the entire match. They opened up an 18-point lead in the first quarter, shooting 61% from the field.

Leading by 22 points entering the fourth quarter, the Clippers were able to give their starters valuable rest with Powell leading the bench.

The Clippers have won eight of their last 12 meetings against the Spurs.
