Lyon’s Brazilian midfielder Lucas Paquetá announced that he has tested positive for Covid-19.
“We have tested positive for Covid. We have had symptoms, but now we are better,” said the 24-year-old player on his Instagram account.
The Lyon player traveled to Dubai to spend the Christmas holidays and must now remain isolated to follow the Covid protocols agreed in the country.
In this way, the resumption of training this Thursday and the preparation period in Murcia (Spain), scheduled for January 1 to 5, would be lost.
Lyon must face Paris SG on January 9, in the framework of the twentieth day of Ligue 1.
