Dominican Elehuris Montero hit two homers and drove in five runs to support the work of his compatriot José Ureña in the victory of the Rockies this Friday against the San Francisco Giants.

Ureña (2-4) pitched 6 2/3 innings of three runs and three strikeouts to earn the win.

Wilmer Flores went 1-for-4 with the bat for the Giants.

In a matchup between the finalists of the last World Series, Austin Riley hit a three-run homer and Dansby Swanson had two runs scored and two RBIs as the Atlanta Braves dominated the Houston Astros.

Venezuelan Ronald Acuña had two touchdowns for the Braves.

Kyle Tucker sent the ball to the other side of the fence and Venezuelan José Altuve produced a return for the Astros.

Christopher Morel hit a go-ahead, two-run homer in the sixth inning for the Cubs and scored twice as the Chicago team rallied past the Milwaukee Brewers.

The Venezuelan Luis Arráez and the Puerto Rican José Miranda managed to hit a homer each, so that the Minnesota Twins won their game against the Texas Rangers.

Venezuelan left-hander Martin Perez (9-4) lost the game for the Rangers, despite posting a quality start, completing six two-run innings and seven strikeouts.

ORIOLES 15-10 RED SOCKS

The Venezuelan Anthony Santander dispatched a home run, scored three times and drove in four laps to contribute to the victory of the Baltimore Orioles in Boston.

The Dominican Jorge Mateo deposited the ball in the stands and pushed three goals; and the Mexican Ramón Urías also hit a home run for the winners.

For the Red Sox, the Puerto Ricans, Christian Arroyo had an RBI and two runs scored; and Kike Hernández drove in two runs.

Teoscar Hernandez drove the ball out of bounds and drove in two runs, while starter Kevin Gausman (9-9) pitched six scoreless innings as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the New York Yankees.

Jose Ramirez homered and scored twice to lead the Cleveland Guardians against the Chicago White Sox.

The quisqueyano Amed Rosario scored and drove in a run for the Guardians, who also had two produced by the Venezuelan Andrés Giménez.

Eloy Jiménez scored a run and Cubans Yoan Moncada and José Abreu drove in one lap each for the White Sox.
