The FIFA Disciplinary Committee has opened a new file against the Serbian Football Association, this time for the behavior of its players in last Friday’s match against Switzerland, on the third day of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The procedure is opened for possible infringement of articles 12 (misconduct of players and officials), 13 (discrimination) and 16 (order and security in matches) of the FIFA Disciplinary Code.
In that duel, there was an exchange of words and some blows distributed between players.
The Committee already opened to the Balkan body, on the 26th, another file after a flag appeared in the team’s locker room that placed Kosovo as belonging to Serbia.
The procedure, as reported by FIFA, is opened according to article 11 of the Disciplinary Code of the highest world body and according to article 4 of the Qatar 2022 World Cup Regulations, GLM announced on November 26.
As could be seen through social networks, a flag of the Balkan country with the map of Kosovo and the expression “No surrender” was hung in the dressing room of the Serbian team.
