Rafael Nadal wins his 14th Roland Garros title and enlarges his legend

Rafael Nadal did it again. The 36-year-old Spanish tennis player won his 14th Roland Garros title on Sunday, after winning the final against Norwegian Casper Ruud in three straight sets.

With this, Rafa Nadal makes his legend even bigger: he has won 22 Grand Slam championships in his career (more than any other tennis player in history on the men’s circuit) and is also 14-0 in the French Open finals (it is say, he has never lost a Roland Garros final).

Ruud put up some resistance in the first two sets (6-3, 6-3), but the third was entirely up to Nadal, who didn’t let go of a single game to take the championship set 6-0.
