Kevin Durant scored 23 points, including 21 in a first half as Brooklyn scored a whopping 91 points, lifting the Nets to a 143-113 rout of the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday.

The Nets’ number of goals in the first half was the third-highest in NBA history. Thus, Brooklyn handed the defending NBA champions their second straight beating in two fateful nights in New York.

Without Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson or Andrew Wiggins, the Warriors finished their trip to the East 1-5. They urgently need to recover their health before returning to the field, for one of the Christmas games against Memphis.

Curry will still be sidelined with a shoulder injury, but Wiggins could return. Golden State definitely requires help, after a game in which they trailed by 44 points.

The Nets matched a franchise record with nine players in double digits and won their seventh straight game despite Kyrie Irving sitting out with a right calf strain.
