MEXICO CITY – The reigning monarch, León, did not take advantage of his home and drew goalless with Pachuca on Monday in the last match for the second date of the Mexican Clausura tournament.

La Fiera, which in December won its eighth league crown, has still not known victory after two rounds.

León scored his first point and placed 15th among the 18 teams in the highest category.

The Tuzos are also still unable to win and have two units, but occupy the 13th position of the table.

After the first two dates, Monterrey and Santos set the pace with six points followed by Pumas, Toluca and Puebla with four. Next come Necaxa, América, Tigres, Querétaro and Mazatlán with three, while Chivas, Juárez and Tijuana have two and Pachuca has one. San Luis, León, Cruz Azul and Atlas have not managed to score yet.

The next date starts on Thursday with the San Luis-Chivas match. On Friday Puebla-Tijuana and Mazatlán-Santos face. Monterrey-León, Atlas-Tigres and América-Juárez are scheduled for Saturday. On Sunday Toluca receives Necaxa and Pumas visits Querétaro. The date ends on Monday when Cruz Azul visits Pachuca.
