Koke Vegas did not know what the winter market could offer him a departure from Levante to join one of the teams aspiring to promotion to First Division. In fact, the Balearic club had a Slovakian goalkeeper with a great future on the island, Dominik Greif, on the verge of signing his signature when an injury to his teammate at Slovan Bratislava finally prevented the operation from taking place.
The reaction of the Mallorcan entity was immediate and at the last minute of the transfer market, the loan of the Levante goal was obtained who knows that Reina is the starter and that he will have to compete with Parera to be the alternative in the remainder of the championship.
For now, Koke has already traveled with the team and shared the bench with Parera and what the new Mallorcan goalkeeper has already discovered is the level of the dressing room: “I have found a very united group, a group with a very clear objective, and a group that enjoys what this process that we are experiencing is being, and above all, I have found a group with great enthusiasm to achieve it“.
However, with his feet on the ground, Koke assures that “the competition is very long and in the end all teams go through different moments, you have to put the ‘ascent mode’ and that ‘nothing stops you’, It would be precious and I wish there was that switch that would allow it to do so”, adding that “fatigue, tiredness or injuries take their toll, there is everything, and this is very long.”
