Austin Slater hit a tiebreaking double with the bases loaded in the ninth, and the San Francisco Giants rallied from a four-run deficit to beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 7-5 on Wednesday.

The victory helped the Giants snap a six-game losing streak and prevent Arizona from sweeping the series.

Darin Ruf hit a two-run pinch-hit homer off Joe Mantiply (1-2) in the eighth to tie the score at 4.

Mantiply hit Mike Yastrzemski in the ninth with a pitch and Sean Poppen left for Arizona. Pinch hitter Wilmer Flores singled and Tommy La Stella walked to load the bases. Then Slater lined up to drive in runs. Austin Wyns followed with a sacrifice fly to increase the lead.

John Brebbia (4-1) retired all Arizona batters in the eighth for the win. Camilo Doval gave up an RBI single to Ketel Marte in the ninth and walked off with the bases loaded. Lefty Sam Long earned his first save.

For the Giants, the Dominican Yermín Mercedes 4-0. The Venezuelan Wilmer Flores 1-1.

For the Diamondbacks, the Dominican Ketel Marte 4-2 with a run scored and an RBI. Venezuelans David Peralta 4-1 with an RBI; José Herrera 3-2 with a run scored.
