20-year-old Olympique Marseille forward Marley Aké joined Juventus, while Italian midfielder Franco Tongya has gone the other way, both clubs announced on Thursday.

Aké signed a five-year contract with Juventus, which has paid Marseille 8 million euros ($ 9.68 million) for their services. The signing of Tongya has been closed for the same amount. This double operation allows both clubs to complete a capital gain, important in a period of economic difficulties.

“This exchange with Juventus is a more modern and frequent type of operation at the moment in the market,” explained OM sports director Pablo Longoria on Tuesday.

In Marseille’s first team since last season, Aké has appeared in 26 games, scoring no goals. His signing has been announced on the Twitter account of the Juventus subsidiary, so everything indicates that he will start in team B (series C, third division).

Tongya is an 18-year-old attacking midfielder who has played in the youth ranks of Juventus since he was a child. He has not made his debut with the first team.
