In week 11 of the United States – MLS 2022, Montréal beat Charlotte FC 0-2 at Bank of America Stadium. The goals for the visitor were made by Djordje Mihailovic (44′ 1T) and Alistair Johnston (21′ 2T).

Alistair Johnston made the stadium vibrate with his definition, in the 21st minute of the second stage. The midfielder beat the goalkeeper with a powerful shot from outside the area, after an assist from Kei Kamara. Great goal on the right post!

Andre Shinyashiki took a tremendous shot 37 minutes into the first half and the ball hit the post. It could not be.

Alistair Johnston was the figure of the match. The CF Montréal midfielder was the author of 1 goal and shot on goal 3 times.

Another relevant player in the match was Gabriele Corbo. The CF Montréal defender was important, for throwing 3 balls out of the danger area.

The game was quite fought, in which the fouls began to accumulate. There were several cautioned: Joaquín Torres, Jaylin Lindsey, Djordje Mihailovic, Jordy Alcívar and Kamil Józwiak.

Charlotte FC manager Miguel Ángel Ramírez laid out a 4-4-2 strategy with Kristijan Kahlina in goal; Jaylin Lindsey, Guzmán Corujo, Christian Makoun and Joseph Mora on the defensive line; Brandt Bronico, Alan Franco, Sergio Ruiz and Benjamin Bender in the middle; and Andre Shinyashiki and Karol Swiderski in attack.

For their part, those led by Wilfried Nancy stopped with a 3-6-1 scheme with Sebastian Breza under the three sticks; Gabriele Corbo, Rudy Camacho and Kamal Miller on defense; Alistair Johnston, Mathieu Choiniere, Victor Wanyama, Lassi Lappalainen, Joaquín Torres and Djordje Mihailovic at half court; and Romell Quioto in the lead.

Referee Silviu Petrescu was selected to carry out the actions of the game.
