A total of 12 communities, which brought together more than 70 riders between the Elite and 85cc categories, gathered at the 2022 Autonomies Motocross, held on November 5 and 6 at the Montperler circuit, in Bellpuig, Lleida . The event, which usually puts an end to motocross in Spain, had been held for the last time in 2019 and the victory had been in the hands of Catalunya. After three years of absence, things do not seem to have changed much, as Simeo Ubach, Roger Oliver, Ot Marí, Adriá Monné, Jan Josa Anglés and Alejandro Liñán managed to revalidate the title thanks to a solid performance throughout the weekend . The podium was completed by the Valencian Community and Extremadura, in second and third place respectively.

Regarding the individual, José Antonio Butrón, from the community of Andalusia, was the winner of the three Elite heats. The dominance of the current Spanish MX1 champion, added to the results of his teammates, ensured the second step of the podium. While in the 85cc both races were conquered by Juan Izaguirre from Madrid, however, the double in races was not enough to take Madrid to the top positions.

Extremadura completed the podium thanks to a sixth place in the Elite calculation and a third place in the 85cc overall.
