CONCACAF held the official draw for the 2023 edition of the international competition of the Confederation’s flagship clubs, the League for which the Scotiabank Concacaf Champions League (SCCL) is named.

The 2023 SCCL, which precedes an exciting new ecosystem of Concacaf clubs set to launch in 2023-24, is constituted by the participation of 16 clubs from eight Concacaf Member Associations, andn where Major League Soccer and Liga MX are the favorites.

the competition is scheduled to begin the second week of March and conclude with a return final on Sunday, June 4, 2023, Thus, almost three months of intense football where different teams will seek to give everything to become champion.

The event made for television was hosted by Ramsés Sandoval, sports presenter of TUDN and included the participation of the Secretary General of Concacaf, Philippe Moggio, the Director of Concacaf Competitions, Carlos Fernández, the Captain of the Seattle Sounders FC, Nicolás Lodeiro, and former star players from the region, Rodney Wallace and Damián Alvarez.

After the draw, we saw how the MLS teams, where LAFC is, will have important duels like the Los Angeles team that will play against LD Alajuelense from Costa Rica; Orlando City against Tigre UANL from Mexico, Philadelphia Union against Alianza FC from El Salvador and Auston against Violette from Haiti.
