Both quarterback Kyler Murray and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins have missed the last three Arizona Cardinals games through injury.

The Arizona Cardinals are the best team in the National Conference after 12 weeks of winning nine of the 11 games played and in large part due to the seven-game losing streak led by quarterback Kyler Murray and wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins .

However, both Murray, with an ankle injury, and Hopkins, with a hamstring strain, have been out of action the last three games. Interestingly, they both suffered injuries in the Week 8 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

The good news is that both players took advantage of the bye week and their return to the field is close . The quarterback and wide receiver have had limited practice heading into the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.

Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury knows he has to watch out for his best players as they didn’t practice for all of November. Despite this, he understands that they will not have difficulty synchronizing on the grid.

“These guys have played a lot of football. I don’t think it will take them long to acclimatize and regain their high level of play, “said Kingsbury.

Murray and Hopkins numbers

In eight games played in the 2021 season, Kyler Murray has 2,276 yards, 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions after completing 72.7 percent of the passes he has attempted. For his part, DeAndre Hopkins has managed to catch 35 of the 48 passes Murray threw in his direction for 486 yards and seven touchdowns.
