Tennis will welcome the new year 2022 with the ATP Cup. As every year, Australia will be the official venue of the competition. However, due to the pandemic there will only be a single venue: Sidney.

The 16 strongest teams in the world will meet in one of the most important cities in the country to discover the successor of Russia, winner of the 2021 edition.

On December 6, the ATP Cup 2022 announced that it will feature 16 teams. 15 countries qualified for the tournament based on the ATP Rankings of their individual players and Australia qualified through an invitation as the host country.
