Marco Asensio is a new player for the Adidas brand. The Spaniard, who until now belonged to the player portfolio of the North American Nike, has announced on his Instagram account his signing for the German brand. The announcement of the Real Madrid winger coincides with the launch of the new Adidas boot model, the Predator Freak.
“Very happy to announce that I am the first new member in the #Predator group of @adidasfootball – Let’s go!”, Wrote Asensio on his Instagram account. The Spanish international appears in the promotional video for the boots, which simulates a WhatsApp group created by David Beckham in which other stars who wear the German brand appear. Also added to the group are Zinedine Zidane, whom Beckham refers to as “The Boss” (The Boss).
In addition to the former English player, Adidas has counted for the campaign with male and female soccer stars such as Paul Pogba, David Alaba, Ter Stegen, Toni Duggan, Wendie Renard, Katie Zelem or world champion Abby Dahlkemper. Other Madrid players, such as Marcelo, Militao or Reinier, on loan at Dortmund, will also wear the new boots.
