Mexican actress Zoraida Gómez wanted to pay tribute to the late singer Vicente Fernandez. However, the image and the farewell message that she shared on her Instagram account unleashed criticism against her.
The remembered “Rebelde” actress published a photograph in which Don ‘Chente’ kisses her on the mouth when she was a child. “You gave me my first kiss, I will always remember you, great artist and human being”, was the message that accompanied the photo.
The image quickly caused controversy on social networks, where some justified the fact by recalling that years ago, adults used to kiss minors, while others criticized this type of gesture towards children. Likewise, users also questioned the sister of actor Eleazar Gómez for this unfortunate tribute.
“As it is not the most appropriate way to pay tribute”; “Why share that photo and that comment right now?”; “How to make a tragedy about me”; “The worst thing is how the mother allowed that, I would never let an adult kiss my daughters, no matter how famous they are.” Were some of the comments on Instagram.
Mexican singer Vicente Fernández died on Sunday, December 12 at the age of 81. The ‘Charro de Huentitán’ had health problems after a severe fall at his ranch “Los Tres Potrillos” several months ago.
