Gaige Grosskreutz, a man who was shot by Kyle Rittenhouse during the racial justice protests in Wisconsin last year, has testified in the murder trial of 18-year-olds.
Grosskreutz, who told jurors that he thought he was “going to die.” wounded in the arm after Rittenhouse fatally shot Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber.

Gaige Grosskreutz is the only person to survive being shot by Kyle Rittenhouse last year during a racial justice protest in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Now he’s gone on to testify in the Rittenhouse murder trial.
Monday, November 8, Grosskreutz claimed that he was armed with a pistol, but had his hands raised when Rittenhouse shot him on the night of August 25, 2020.
Grosskreutz testified : “I never tried to kill the accused. At the time, I was trying to preserve my own life. But doing it while taking the life of another is not something that I am capable or comfortable to do ”.
Who is Gaige Grosskreutz?
Gaige Grosskreutz is a 27-year-old paramedic from Milwaukee. He attended dozens of Black Lives Matter rallies during the summer of 2020, second to NPR .
Grosskreutz attended the protests as a paramedic and legal observer, wearing medical supplies with a hat that read “paramedic”.
As a result of being shot by Rittenhouse, Grosskreutz said he lost “most” of his right bicep. He explained that he had several surgeries and spent a week in the hospital to attend the emergency room.
