The family of the famous Mexican singer Vicente Fernandez announced through social networks that he passed away this December 12. The Charro de Huentitán was 81 years old.
The death occurred after the interpreter of Beautiful darling spent four months hospitalized due to complications from the fall he suffered in August. The following can be read in the message posted on his Instagram account:
Rest in Peace Mr. Vicente Fernández. We regret to inform you of his death on Sunday, December 12 at 6:15 am. It was an honor and a great pride to share a musical career with everyone and give everything for his audience. Thank you for continuing to applaud, thank you for continuing to sing.
The death of Vicente Fernandez deeply shocked his millions of fans, his colleagues and especially his family, according to the reporters who came to receive the health report, his children and grandchildren had been meeting in the hospital for a couple of days Country 2000 from Guadalajara, where the singer died.
The health of this world-class artist declined since last December 9, date on which some complications derived from his readmission to intensive care were reported last December 1st. It should be noted that Vicente Fernández was hospitalized since August 9 of this year after suffering a fall.

According to its official website, Vicente Chente Fernández was born on February 17, 1940 in the town of Huentitán El Alto, Jalisco, Mexico. This place would give it its better known nickname, that is, The Charro of Huentitán.
Vicente Fernandez dreamed of his singing career since he was just a child, so at the age of eight he learned to play the guitar and began his studies of folk music: “I would go to see Pedro Infante’s films and tell my mother ‘when I grow up I will be like them”.
In his adolescence, the young singer participated in competitions and also played in restaurants and weddings; later he joined groups such as Mariachi Amanecer de Pepe Mendoza, and the Mariachi band by José Luís Aguilar (Felipe Arriaga). He was also part of a mariachi music radio program called Tapatío sunrise.
In his youth he also began the story of her marriage to Cuquita Abarca, who was his life partner since he was 23 years old and with whom he procreated his children Vicente Fernández Jr, Alejandro and Alejandra Fernandez.
That would only be the beginning of the Fernandez dynasty, well, she had the fortune to meet her grandchildren and in this year Cayetana, her first great-granddaughter, was born.
Several record companies rejected him, but his luck changed after the death of Javier Solís, the ranchero bolero singer, these companies began to call him and in 1966, Fernández signed his contract with CBS México (today Sony Music); his first singles were Your Way and Mine, Forgive me and Cantina del Barrio.
That opportunity would catapult him to worldwide success, as he starred in films, released dozens of albums and received awards, the most recent being the Latin Grammy 2021.
